Becoming a member of the Pakistan Amateur Radio Society (PARS) begins with obtaining Short Wave Listener (SWL) membership. Applicants must complete the prescribed membership form and submit the required supporting documents, including identification, photographs, qualifications, references, and the applicable membership fee. Once approved, members can participate in PARS activities and begin preparing for amateur radio licensing.
Individuals wishing to become licensed amateur radio operators must subsequently apply to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), meet the eligibility requirements, and successfully complete the required test and interview. PARS membership is a prerequisite for obtaining an Amateur Radio License in Pakistan.
To obtain an Amateur Radio License in Pakistan, applicants must first become a PARS member, meet PTA eligibility requirements, and successfully complete the required examination and interview process administered by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
No prior amateur radio experience is required. PARS welcomes beginners, hobbyists, students, and technical enthusiasts interested in learning about radio communications and obtaining an amateur radio license.
